RALPH LAUREN | Artist in Residence: Polo Ralph Lauren x Naiomi Glasses | Love of the Land

Ralph Lauren partnered with Diné filmmaker Shaandiin Tome to create a film series for Polo Ralph Lauren’s inaugural Artist in Residence campaign, featuring seventh-generation Diné textile artist Naiomi Glasses. The campaign documents Glasses’ two-year collaboration with Ralph Lauren’s design team to transform her woven artwork into a collection inspired by her family, homeland, and community on Dinétah within the Navajo Nation. Alongside the clothing collection, Glasses curated handmade silver and turquoise jewelry from artisans across Navajo, Hopi, San Felipe, and Zuni communities. Directed by Tome and produced with a largely local Navajo crew, the films highlight the connection between heritage, craftsmanship, and artistic expression while amplifying Indigenous voices through an authentic and visually rich portrayal of culture, landscape, and creative process.
